Mary's Biography
About Mary Rice Hopkins…
Celebrating 30 years of family music ministry, Mary has captured the hearts of children and grown-ups alike. Her simple yet profound melodies can be heard throughout the world, now being translated into Spanish and Russian. An author of 6 children’s books, her works also include over twenty albums, 5 videos, 4 DVD’s, and 6 sets of Bible-based curriculum. For the last 10 years Mary has devoted more time to Christian Educators knowing the important role they play in the lives of children. Both the musical and non-musical persons alike have learned to use Mary’s music in the classroom. Mary’s music goes beyond merely entertaining children—her music touches and moves them. “When so many songs come and go,” educators say, “Mary’s music is timeless.” Mary lives in Southern California with her husband and two children.

She resides in Southern California with her husband Gary of 24 years and their two children, Trisha, a junior at Point Loma Nazarene University and David, 18, a senior high school varsity football player. The Hopkins' have two dogs, Sadie Hopkins and Shelby Hopkins.
